Many men and women tend to overlook this and not put a correlation between the two, but it does tend to play a big part in the way your skin looks and feels!

This is actually very simple and easy to maintain diet. Not all skincare treatments or products can get the job done the way an all natural food product can. Low-Fat Dairy Products: It’s of the most important vitamins for you skin is vitamin A. This can commonly be found in low-fat dairy products such as, low-fat milk, yogurt, reduced fat cheeses, some frozen yogurts and many more! Low-fat yogurts contain acidophilous, a live bacteria that is great for intestinal health. Which also has a direct impact on your skin!

Blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and plums: Each of these fruits are high in antioxidants, higher than any other fruit out there. The antioxidants found in these fruits help to protect skin cells that can be damaged by free radical, such as sun exposure. This also helps guard your skin again premature aging and keep your skin looking younger. Artichokes, black, red or pinto beans, prunes and pecans are also high in antioxidants and can be beneficial for your skin.

Salmon, Walnuts, Canola Oil, and Flaxseed: Each of these foods contains key elements and fatty acids to help you maintain healthy skin. These fatty acids are responsible for cell membrane growth, which helps to release waste products from these cells. It’s important to understand that the stronger the barrier is, the better your cells hold in moisture. There are two common essential fatty acids which are omega-3 and omega-6.

Whole-Wheat Bread, Muffins, And Cereals; Turkey, Tuna and Brazil Nuts: There is one common mineral found in each of these foods, selenium. Experts say that selenium plays a key role  in the health of skin cells. In a clinical study, high levels of selenium caused skin cells to be less likely to suffer from oxidative damage that can increase the risk of cancer.

Green Tea: This beverage contains anti-inflammatory properties and can be very effective in protecting cell membranes. This may even help prevent or reduce the risk of skin cancer. A study was also done on green tea and found that whether it is consumed or applied to your skin it can reduce the risk of damage for UV light.

Water: Water is beneficial on many levels when it’s in reference to your body and even though the recommended dosage of how much water you should consume varies; there is no doubt that this drink holds many benefits. Water helps to hydrate your body inside and out and keeps it revitalized throughout the day.
